Kyell says:

Bridges started out of a discussion with my writing friend K.M. Hirosaki, about a certain sexual position involving three people. That led me to wonder, what kind of person would get into that position? From there, I conceived of a three-way told three different ways, from the points of view of the person who didn't expect it, the person who instigated it, and the other, more willing party. And once I'd written those, it became clear that one of the characters had a further story to tell. His story became Bridges.
